flexCHEM™ 300 is the EPDM chemical, water and liquid-waste option. Its suitability depends on the exact fluid; the EPDM designation does not establish universal chemical or petroleum compatibility.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
flexVAC™ 180 AR is the heavy-duty abrasion-resistant SBR material-handling option. It provides strong suction capability in a broad size range, but it does not contain a hose-grounding wire.
Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty high pressure suction and discharge hose
Use for: Pressure-slurry discharge.
flexVAC™ Max is the reinforced abrasive-slurry specialist. Its published 4-inch working-pressure rating is 140 psi, so a 20 psi boom hose does not replace it in this pressure duty.
Notes: The main progression covers compatible abrasive slurry suction. Pressure-slurry discharge uses the reinforced specialist listed under Products.
Distinction: flexCHEM™ 300 suits compatible liquid-dominant slurry. flexVAC™ 180 AR adds heavy-duty abrasive suction capability and broad size availability. flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST adds grounded polyurethane-lined construction for abrasive recovery. flexVAC™ Max is the separate reinforced pressure-slurry alternative.
Limitation: The flexVAC™ Max pressure-discharge alternative has a limited standard size range centered on 4 and 6 inches. If the required diameter is unavailable, a separate pressure-rated selection is necessary; the suction ranking does not establish discharge-pressure capability.
Warning: Verify the slurry’s liquid chemistry, additives, particle size, solids concentration, temperature, velocity and maximum pressure or vacuum. Confirm the selected hose’s bend-radius limits. Suction capability does not establish discharge-pressure capability.
