Notes: Evaluate the vapor, any liquid condensate, concentration, temperature, pressure/vacuum and exposure duration against the hose tube, cover, fittings and seals. PVC, EPDM and polyurethane are candidate materials only after that assessment. A temperature rating alone does not establish chemical compatibility. Assign Good, Better, Best and Best Value only after the compatible candidates and actual operating requirements are established.
Warning: Identify the exact vapor, concentration, temperature and possible liquid condensate before selection. Do not use a generic duct-family ranking for unidentified or incompatible fumes; establish compatibility of both vapor and condensate before operation.
