Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
flexVAC™ 180 STAR combines abrasion-resistant SBR construction, static-dissipating carbon black and a copper grounding wire for demanding dry-material handling.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant wet and dry material handling hose
flexVAC™ U Boom ST is the heavy polyurethane-lined boom hose for demanding wet and dry abrasive recovery. Its static-dissipating construction and copper grounding wire support the defined severe-duty role. It is not food grade.
Notes: This progression covers pressure-assisted unloading of compatible nonfood powders and granules. The system’s maximum possible hose pressure governs eligibility.
At 4 and 6 inches, the boom options have 20 psi working-pressure ratings. Select a pressure-qualified alternative when the tanker system can exceed those limits.
Limitation: The selected hose’s working-pressure rating must cover the maximum pressure that can reach it under the actual unloading configuration. Verify the selected diameter and temperature; the application name and vacuum capability do not establish pressure suitability.
Warning: Dry powders and granules can generate static during pneumatic transfer. Correctly terminate, bond, ground and test the hose wire as part of the complete conveying system. Static-dissipating material alone does not establish a grounding-wire connection; confirm vacuum and bend-radius limits as applicable.
