Medium-duty food grade suction and discharge hose
flexFOOD™ lite 200 ST combines clear food-contact PVC construction with a copper grounding wire for qualified dry-material conveying. It is the lower-pressure option in this progression.
Reinforced urethane food hose
flexFORCE™ U Food Grade combines a food-contact polyurethane liner, synthetic reinforcement, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire. It is the reinforced option for qualified abrasive-material and pressure service. Use the reinforced Best when ST200SFG’s operating limits are insufficient.
Notes: Use qualified grounded food-contact products for dry ingredients and powders. Food-contact liquid hose without a grounding wire is not the default for this duty.
A grounding wire is part of the construction, not proof of a safely bonded complete system.
Distinction: flexFOOD™ lite 200 ST covers qualified routine dry-ingredient conveying with a grounding wire. flexFORCE™ U Food Grade adds reinforced polyurethane construction for more abrasive powders or greater pressure demands. Food-contact liquid hose without a grounding wire is outside this grounded dry-transfer selection.
Warning: Qualify the ingredient, particle size, product temperature, cleaning method, fittings, seals and sanitation requirements for the complete food-contact assembly. Correctly terminate, bond, ground and test the hose wire. Confirm the selected diameter’s pressure, vacuum, temperature and bend-radius limits.
