Heavy-duty blower and ducting hose
flexDUCT™ U 545 is the heavy-duty polyurethane duct for more demanding internal wear. Its pressure and vacuum limits vary substantially with diameter; a heavier wall does not make every size a full-vacuum hose. At 6 inches, 545U is rated to 24 inHg vacuum; at 8 inches it is rated to 12 inHg. The 8-inch size is outside this defined 4–6-inch recommendation.
Notes: This selection is restricted to portable grain vacuuming in 4- through 6-inch systems within the published 545U ratings. It is not an unrestricted pressure-unloading recommendation.
Limitation: The flexDUCT™ U 545 recommendation is restricted to portable grain vacuuming in 4- through 6-inch systems within its published ratings. The 8-inch size and pressure unloading are outside this selection. Verify the selected diameter’s vacuum rating, grain-contact suitability and the complete system’s grounding requirements.
