flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.

flexVAC™ 180 HR
High temperature abrasion resistant suction hose
Use for: Elevated temperature.
flexVAC™ 180 HR is the elevated-temperature EPDM material-handling option. Its published temperature range extends to 220°F, and its grounding wire must be connected as part of the complete system.
Notes: The main selection covers normal-temperature grounded sand recovery. Hot sand is a separate duty.
Distinction: flexVAC™ 180 STAR provides grounded rubber construction for normal-temperature sand recovery. flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST adds polyurethane-lined construction for abrasive suction. The flexVAC™ 180 HR alternative applies to hot sand within its temperature and operating ratings.
Warning: Correctly terminate, bond, ground and test the hose wire as part of the complete recovery system. Static-dissipating material alone is not a grounding-wire connection. Confirm material temperature and the selected diameter’s pressure, vacuum and bend-radius limits, including the hot-sand alternative’s grounding requirements.
Exception: If the required diameter falls outside the available grounded selections, obtain a separate selection meeting both the size and grounding requirements. An unwired hose cannot be substituted on diameter alone.
