Application guide
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
flexVAC™ 180 STAR combines abrasion-resistant SBR construction, static-dissipating carbon black and a copper grounding wire for demanding dry-material handling.
Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant wet and dry material handling hose
flexVAC™ U Boom ST is the heavy polyurethane-lined boom hose for demanding wet and dry abrasive recovery. Its static-dissipating construction and copper grounding wire support the defined severe-duty role. It is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
Use for: Grounded dry cement transfer within its pressure rating.
flexVAC™ 180 STAR combines abrasion-resistant SBR construction, static-dissipating carbon black and a copper grounding wire for demanding dry-material handling. Its pressure rating must meet the actual conveying duty; use the reinforced alternative when that duty requires it.
Reinforced urethane food hose
Use for: Reinforced pressure conveying.
flexFORCE™ U Food Grade combines a food-contact polyurethane liner, synthetic reinforcement, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire. It is the reinforced option for qualified abrasive-material and pressure service.
Notes: The main progression is for grounded low-pressure cement conveying within all boom-hose ratings. Reinforced higher-pressure service is separate.
Use the reinforced-pressure alternative when the conveying requirement exceeds the boom-hose limits. Temperature capability must be qualified separately from pressure capability.
Warning: Cement conveying can involve severe abrasion, pressure, static and respirable dust. Verify material temperature, velocity, pressure, vacuum and bend radius. Where a grounding wire is required, use an eligible wire-equipped selection and correctly terminate, bond, ground and test it as part of the complete system.
