flexCHEM™ 300 is the EPDM chemical, water and liquid-waste option. Its suitability depends on the exact fluid; the EPDM designation does not establish universal chemical or petroleum compatibility.
Heavy-duty reinforced chemical suction and discharge hose
flexCHEM™ 390 adds synthetic reinforcement and higher working-pressure capability for compatible EPDM service. Its listed diameters extend through 3 inches; this is a pressure-transfer upgrade, not an automatic vacuum-pickup upgrade.
Notes: This progression covers identified treatment chemicals that are compatible with EPDM. Reinforcement changes pressure capability, not the compound’s chemical resistance.
Limitation: Treatment chemicals include acids, alkalis, oxidizers, coagulants, polymers and disinfectants. EPDM is not compatible with every chemical or concentration, and added reinforcement does not broaden chemical resistance.
Warning: Verify the exact chemical, concentration, temperature, pressure, vacuum, cleaning procedure and hose, fitting and seal materials. Confirm bend-radius limits. Mixed or unidentified chemicals require separate engineering review before selection.
