Application guide
Food grade suction and discharge hose
flexFOOD™ lite 200 is the lighter food-contact PVC option. Its clear wall and smooth bore support visual inspection and product flow in qualified, lower-duty transfer.
Heavy-duty food grade suction and discharge hose
flexFOOD™ 210 is the heavier food-contact PVC option. It adds working-pressure capability over the lite 200 while retaining clear construction and a smooth bore.
Reinforced urethane food hose
flexFORCE™ U Food Grade combines a food-contact polyurethane liner, synthetic reinforcement, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire. It is the reinforced option for qualified abrasive-material and pressure service.
Notes: The Best Value selection is for abrasive dry feed and pneumatic handling that require a grounded hose. The PVC products remain limited to qualified lower-duty service without that requirement.
The 200SFG and 210HFG tiers are not substitutes when the process requires a grounding wire or the reinforced polyurethane construction of STKLUFG.
Distinction: flexFOOD™ lite 200 and flexFOOD™ 210 remain options for qualified lower-duty feed service without a hose-grounding-wire requirement. flexFORCE™ U Food Grade is the selection for abrasive dry feed and pneumatic handling requiring grounded, reinforced construction.
Warning: Qualify the feed composition, pellets or powder, product temperature, cleaning conditions, feed-contact standards, fittings, seals and cross-contamination controls for the complete assembly. Correctly terminate, bond, ground and test the hose wire where required; food-contact construction alone does not qualify every feed process.
